How to Install & Set Up OpenNebula
Bring up an OpenNebula cloud and edge management front-end — the fastest path is the one-command minione evaluation installer.
Prerequisites
- ✓Ubuntu 22.04 / RHEL-family front-end host
- ✓KVM-capable hardware for the hypervisor nodes
- ✓Root or sudo access
Option A — Quick evaluation with minione
minione deploys a fully working single-node OpenNebula (front-end + KVM) in a few minutes — ideal for a first look.
Option B — Repository install on Ubuntu (front-end)
Option C — Repository install on RHEL / CentOS Stream / Rocky Linux
Verify the installation
